Last Day in Broken Bow

On our last day in Broken Bow we woke up, made pancakes, cleaned Ron's cabin, packed the van, and then headed out. Before we left town we went to the Forest Museum that is located in Beavers Bend Recreation Area.
Before pulling out of Ron's drive we had the kids pose in the cute wagon that stands in front of his property.

Here we are posing in front of the museum. Everything in the museum was based around the importance of trees, and some Broken Bow Lake history.

The kiddos with Smokey The Bear.

Cade checking out an exhibit.

Ella and I in front of an old cabin that we explored.

Here are Cade, Ella Cate, and Carson posing with their souvenirs from the museum gift shop. Cade got a wooden spear, El got a ring, and Carson got a bow and arrow. Em chose to make a souvenir penny, but I forgot to take a picture. ;(

We took pictures of the beautiful scenery as we drove out of Beavers Bend Recreation Area (where Broken Bow Lake is located).

Cade took this picture of Sam and I...it was HOT!

The girls and I in front of the pretty lake....they were soooo tired and worn out by this point.

As we were leaving Broken Bow we ate at Papa Poblano's. I have to say that their tortillas and hot sauce were VERY tasty!
