The Girls' 1st Bikes

Grancie and Robin got the girls their very first bikes for Christmas! They are Barbie bikes, and the girls are oh so proud of them!

After we ate Christmas lunch and opened presents with Grancie, Robin, and Uncle Caleb we braved the cold and melting snow for a bike riding session. The girls did a great job riding in their fancy new dresses from Uncle John and Aunt Madonna!!

Christmas Day 2009

The most memorable part of Christmas 2009, was that it was a white Christmas! The kids were soooo excited about the snow. After they woke up and opened their presents we bundled up over our jammies to enjoy our snow covered yard! Even the dogs joined in on the fun!

sweet sisters having a blast!

Sam was in shorts and his dress shirt! He obviously got dressed very quick!!

making snow balls
I didn't take many pictures of gift opening on Christmas morning, but I did manage to get a few of some of the neat things that Santa left them!
Here is Emmy riding her new Barbie scooter...for some odd reason all 4 of my kids enjoy being shirtless...even in winter!

Carson with his favorite gift...his Snuggie!

the boys got an air hockey table

the girls got a princess vanity

and...beautiful new golden shoes from Santa

Christmas Eve 2009

We celebrated Christmas Eve with all of the Stewarts at our house. We had a great time together, and we enjoyed watching the snow fall outside. Sadly I didn't take many pictures, but here is a group shot of Sam, his brothers, and his dad.

Cade made this snow angel in the front yard

The Cupcake Makers

My Nana and Papa got the girls the Cupcake Maker for Christmas. This was definitely at the top of their Christmas lists! We had fun one morning last week testing out the Cupcake Makers. Carson joined in on the fun, and he was the official taste tester! It actually works great, and the cupcakes were pretty tasty, considering they were cooked in the microwave!

everyone still had jammies and morning hair while cooking!

Christmas Celebrations in Texarkana

We went to Texarkana the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with my extended family. We had Christmas with my Mom's side on Saturday 12/19 and with my Dad's side on Sunday 12/18...pretty much everyone that I am related to beside my mom and brother live in Texarkana. The kids had a blast, as they always do. They were spoiled with love and wonderful gifts!

Our Trip on The Polar Express

This year we started a new Christmas tradition....The Grapevine Polar Express! We took the kids the day that school got out for Christmas break, and they loved every second of it!
Everyone (except the adults) wore matching jammies!

After the train ride we had a wild dinner at El Fenix! It was fun, but it was a little too crazy to take pictures of!

Carson's Christmas Musical

Carson performed in his school musical in mid December. He did a great job singing "Silent Night" and signing the words in sign language. Sadly the pictures don't showcase what a great job he did. Here he is shown behind a friend exiting the sanctuary. Timing on the picture was a bit off!!
