Chilly Cheerleading (and Football)

This morning the girls and Carson had their last football/cheer game of this season. They did a great job despite the chilly weather. Everyone looked so cute all bundled up...especially Quinny all in pink!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sophie!

We celebrated Sophie's 2nd birthday last week on 11-11-10! The girls insisted that we get her a birthday cake and a birthday prize! So we headed to Kroger and got her a $3 closeout pumpkin shaped cake that turned out to be very yummy. Poor So got no cake, but she enjoyed her bone that the girls picked out for her! They loved celebrating their Sophie!

Cheer Competition

Today the girls performed a cheer at The Optimist competition. They cheered one of their favorites "Bang Bang Choo-Choo Train". There was a whole gym full of people watching them, and they did great! Here are Ashy and El before we checked in.

An Early Visit with Santa

Ashlyn spent the night with us last night, and since it was dark and cold we decided to take the kids to play at the indoor playground in the mall. We were surprised to see that the playground had moved, and Santa had taken its place. So, since there was no line we decided to let the kids visit with Santa. No one was nervous like last year, and they all spoke up and told Santa what they wanted. The lady even let me take pictures with my camera, which never happens. Had I known this was going to happen they would have looked a little more festive!

PTA Night

Last week at the school PTA meeting Carson's class was honored for having the most students attend Spring Creek Spirit Night. Each child received a t-shirt, $10 gift card to Spring Creek, and other various goodies. Spring Creek is so good to our school! We do one Spring Night per semester, and they donate so much $$ to our school.

Also at the PTA meeting my 4th grade teammate, Carrie, presented the cool picture that our students and faculty posed for. In honor of the TX Rangers amazing season all 600 students and faculty members posed to make the word RANGERS...it turned out really cool!

Halloween 2010

We had fun continuing our annual trick-or-treating extravaganza with Grancie, Robin, and Uncle Caleb. The kids had a blast! We met at Logan's for dinner, and then we hit the streets of their neighborhood!
We had a hodge podge of costumes. Cade was his usual...a scary vampire (this year he sported shorts though), Ella was a vampire bride/witch a "prize" she picked out at the mall last week...clearance find, Emmy wore her costume that my cousin gave her for Christmas about 2 years ago, and car wore his G.I. Joe costume from last year even though Nana bought him a new Iron Man costume this year! The girls wanted nothing to do with their adorable 50's girls costumes! Ugh!! Oh well....I guess Halloween is about them having fun!

Ashlyn's Birthday Party

Ashlyn had her 6th birthday on Saturday at River Legacy Park. Aimee hired a girl to paint faces, hot dogs were served, fun games like Duck Duck Goose were played, and a wonderful time was had by all! The weather couldn't have been better!
The kids played a mummy game where they got to wrap each other up in toilet paper. Ella wrapped Ashy!
