6 Flags!

On Friday evening after Sam got home from work we headed to Six Flags. We didn't get there until 6:00, and we left the park when it closed at 10:00. It wasn't too hot, or too crowded. We had a great time! In the picture above we had just gotten off of The Roaring Rapids Ride. We were all soaked!

Celebrating with Chels and Bren

I celebrated b-day #32 with Chels and Bren doing something that I really love! Shopping and dining in Southlake Town Square! We hit our favorite spot...Gap, where Chels spoiled me by getting me a new denim skirt for back to school! My choice for my b-day dinner was Mi Cocina...yum! We sipped a Mambo Taxi and munched on fajitas. The dinner and conversation were perfect! The staff at the restaurant pretty much had to kick us out! They closed at 9:30, and we weren't out til after 10:00
My friends didn't want their pics taken, so sadly this is the only picture that was taken! Me, checking out at The Gap! Sam looked at this picture and said "busted!"....of course! :)

Thirty-two

I finally dragged the camera out of its summer hibernation to document my 32nd birthday! We had a great time celebrating this weekend! Since Sam was out of town on a work related trip during my 30th and 31st b-day, we decided to celebrate big this year because he was going to be in town! We started celebrating Saturday evening by having a night out with friends in Fort Worth. We ate at a yummy Mexican food restaurant called La Familia. I chose it mainly because I had heard that they served flaming margaritas! Yummy!

They even sang a special b-day song to me, and they gave me a sombrero to take home! ;)

I opened special presents from my friends...

had several flaming margaritas...

posed for pictures...

and even got a jalapeno bull and a pecan praline to take home!

After dinner we headed to 8.0 in Sundance Square to sit outside and listen to a neat band. We met up with another group of friends, and we had a great time!

On Sunday the celebrating continued....we met up with Mom and Robin for b-day dinner at Saltgrass. They spoiled me and got me tickets to the Sugarland concert in October, $, and delicious cupcakes!

Monday was my actual b-day. For lunch we met Sam at Chik-fil-A, and for dinner we tried a new place in The Highlands called Mandola's Italian Market. Their entrees were so-so, but their desserts were superb. Carrot cake, gelato, chocolate cake, and Italian cookies were had by all!! So good!

Pre-K Graduation Celebration

Last night we celebrated Carson's and Ashlyn's pre-K graduation at The Magic Time Machine. Aimee (Ashlyn's mom) and I decided to do something special for them since their school didn't do a graduation ceremony for the pre-k class. Sadly my camera died before Ashlyn and her family even arrived! I didn't get a picture of the adorable cake that Aimee ordered for them. Our waitress was Alice In Wonderland, but the kids really enjoyed Dr. Evil who was waiting on the table next to us. Pretty sad that they know who Dr. Evil is! We even got a special visit from Where's Waldo a.k.a. Corbin and Gage's Uncle Jared! Lots of fun, great foods, and great drinks had by all!

the graduate with his bro and sisters...Emmy was borrowing Ashlyn's cap. My friend Theresa made their caps they turned out so cute!

Proud Mommy and daddy with the grad!

Before the Cooley fam arrived we sat upstairs in the bar and listened in on the magic show that was going on!

My Longest Blogging Break...EVER!

I can't believe that I am actually posting something! It has been sooooo long since I've blogged! The last few months have been crazy busy, and with me starting my 1st week of summer school last Monday, summer hasn't really changed anything! I have lots to catch up on, and I'll start with a few fun things that happened this past April and May.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Park Row Christian Spring Musical.
The little ones did an awesome job in their spring musical. It was on one of their last days of school in May. We will really miss their teachers from this past year. The girls will be back there next year in pre-K, but Carson is moving on up and will start kindergarten at Key with me! That's hard for me to believe! I was pregnant with him when I started teaching at Key.

Wedding at Wildscape Ranch in Mansfield
In early May we went to my second cousins wedding at a cool little farm in Mansfield. The kids had a great time watching the beautiful bride, who the girls thought was a princess, eating yummy food, loading up on candy from the candy bar, and running around!

and of course I will wrap up with the Easter Egg hunt 2010
